The purpose of these standards is to achieve an appropriate level of user safety during the use of the equipment and while being around it. Particularly, EN1176 series of standards, which concern playgrounds, promote activities and features of the play area that benefit children, providing them with valuable experiences and helping them face situations outside the play area.
OctoCert conducts:
-Initial inspection of design and layout of playgrounds, as well as the inspection of materials/components of the play equipment.
-The required tests and necessary inspections of the equipment and surfacing according to the standards.
-Periodic inspection of existing playgrounds to verify compliance with the safety level.
