Playground Management System

A playground is a designated outdoor area managed by the Local Authority (OTA) intended for the recreation of minors, without staff supervision. It operates under the responsibility of the OTA, which must take all necessary measures for its safe operation. Specifically, it is required to comply with the EN1176-7 standard and apply the provisions of Ministerial Decision 28492/2009 and its amendment by Ministerial Decision 27934/2014.

A Playground Management System (PMS) helps in this direction. It specifies the roles and responsibilities of the personnel involved, while also providing a system for recording and documenting safety management activities. It outlines the procedures required by the standard and identifies the external documents necessary for its operation. Maintenance, supervision, and annual evaluation are actions that the OTA is obligated to implement.
